''Leap of Faith'' is a half-hour single-camera comedy that aired on NBC in early 2002, right after ''Friends'' on NBC's Thursday comedy block at 8:30 PM EST, as part of Must See TV. ''Friends'' was in its eighth season and was the number one show on television and ratings expectations were very high for the follow up series. ''Inside Schwartz'' filled the time slot, but was canceled after nine episodes despite averaging 15.1 millions viewers. ''Leap of Faith'' was the second show to fill the time slot, and aired for six episodes and averaged 16.5 million viewers.
